There are so many implications of the purge that the movies never really dive into (probably because the whole premise just sort of falls apart if you think to long about it). But I would have loved to see them at least try. Oh well, now they leave room for these awesome sketches :D

the funny part is this seems more realistic than the movie. actually, it even makes the movie seem MORE realistic; it means all the over-the-top theatrics are literally just the Purgers doing 'bits' and having fun with their murderous sprees so they get to talk about it after like some kind of violent improv class they all took part in

Purge is happening. Step 1: Secure house with barricades to prevent entry, independent water system to prevent fires from being started, etc. Step 2: Purchase rifles of various calibers, lots of ammo, and forms of body armor. Step 3: Have family and clise friends all locate to your domicile, all adults veing trained over the year to become proficiant with firearms, then designate some as defenders and other as protectors of children and such. Step 4: Defenders are positioned at locations around house to give 360 degree visibility while protectors are centrally located in secure position. Step 5: Once purge commences, any and all persons approaching home are to be considered as hostiles, no exceptions, and if they do not leave when told, self defense authorized. Step 6: Continue defense throughout 12 hour shift, not letting up from aggressive posture towards outside enemies until buzzer sounds and people no longer approach the area. Continue defensive posture until media reports later in the day that everything has gone vack to normal, so as not to be caught in endless purge. Step 7: If back to normal, go home, carry on, but throughout year, address faults in security over previous purge using video footage recorded from security cameras located on exterior of home, in order to better prep defenses for next purge to come...

It makes me mad that they have the audacity to act like they didn’t murdered some people. It also makes me sad that a lot of people died during the purge. Some people are just truly evil.
